CAT VACCINES RECOMMENDED

FVRCP ( Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, CaliciVirus, Panleukopenia ). Given at 8 weeks old, 12 weeks old, and 16 weeks old, and then annually.


FELV ( Feline Leukemia Virus ). Kittens get two vaccines, one month apart when they are 9 weeks of age or older, then annually. Adopted cats get two vaccines one month apart, and then annually.

RABIES Kittens get a vaccine at 4 months of age or older and then in one year. Adopted cats under one year of age get one vaccine and then a vaccine in one year. Rabies vaccines are good for 3 years when administered to cats that are over 1 year of age.

DHPP ( Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus ). Puppies get a series of 3 of these vaccines at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks of age and then annually. Newly adopted dogs, over 12 weeks old get two vaccines, one month apart, and then annually.

CORONA – ( Corona Virus ) – Given at 8 weeks old, 12 weeks old, and 16 weeks old, then annually. Newly adopted dogs over 12 weeks old get two vaccines, one month apart, and then annually.

BORDETELLA – Given at 12 weeks old, then 16 weeks old, and then annually.

RATTLESNAKE VACCINE – ( Crotalid ) Puppies and dogs over 12 weeks old get two vaccines, one month apart, and then annually.

LYME DISEASE- ( Borelia ) This is a tick transmitted disease. If you live in, or take your dog to an area where there are ticks we reccomend Frontline, and then Lyme Disease Vaccine. This vaccine is given twice, one month apart, and then annually.
